Hi! I'm carie...

also known as Carie Lynn. I was born and raised in Virginia where I currently reside with my husband, two children, four dogs and a pot-bellied pig. I work full time as a Market Executive and have been in banking a total of 22 years. Life gets hectic sometimes but it’s my favorite rollercoaster!

my photography journey....

Photography is so much more to me than just taking a picture. It's a deep passion for providing irreplaceable memories. Over the past 14 years I have spent hours researching, studying, and practicing my skills. I've also attended workshops by some of the best photographers in the country where I feel I’ve gained so much knowledge about this industry. Even through all of the education and experience I’ve had over the years, I didn’t truly understand the value of photography on a deep, personal level until 2017 when my Daddy passed away after a very short battle with cancer. When all you have left are memories and a lot of those memories are captured through photos, your entire opinion changes and my work altered as a result.

I enjoy taking photos of all different stages in life, but I absolutely love working with children. There is nothing like capturing those sweetest moments, cute little grins and shy personalities that slip by so quickly. Seeing the joy on their parents faces when they receive their gallery gives me all the warm and fuzzies.

Over the past four years I have shifted my focus to Fine Art Photography sessions. There is a certain aura to Fine Art Photography which sets it apart from other photography. A fine art image is created by the artist through their vision and captures the true beauty of the subject. Fine art sessions aren’t the photos you only share on social media, but instead your artwork is intended to be printed and is best showcased as wall art. These classic pieces will become a family heirloom treasured for many years to come.
